Another Snowy Day

We got 4.5" of snow Friday and another 2-3" last night! All this snow and the only thing I can think about is hiking 2200 miles on the Appalachian Trail!
I have lots and lots of work to do before I can actually start seriously planning my adventure on the Appalachian Trail. I just cannot do the work in this weather. I need warmer temperatures for the work to be done! Very very frustrating I must say! Especially since I have a lot of down time because of this weather; which makes it an even greater feeling of anxiety!
I hope all are doing well and are handling this weather better than I :-)

What a crappy day!

The high today is suppose to be -5! Yuck!
I had to get 2 shots yesterday and they made me feel yucky. I had very restless sleep, ran a slight fever I sweat out most of the night and this morning I feel very sore and run down!

It's early morning. I get up and look out the window and guess what??? Yes, it's Snowing! Even so, there are no worries as GODS infinite plan includes this little white stuff that can make mountains!
I praise GOD to the highest. I am thankful to have another day above ground and to surrounded by his glory!

The city's heart still beats!

Ended up getting 8" of snow. The city was better prepared this time as the streets were clearer and easier to get around on. Schools were still closed but more people seamed to be out and about! I had  a pretty productive day. Got everything accomplished I had on my agenda, and some. 

Stop The Snow!!

We got another 8" of snow last night and the news says more on the way around 1pm! YUK!
This year is the 4th largest snow fall in history they are saying. I just want it to ALL go away!

IT'S BEEN A WHILE!

Well Peeps it has been a long time...like 4-5 years! A lot has happened. I've lost a few people very near and dear to my heart and I've gained a few too! I still enjoy the computer, but these days it is mostly for pleasure. The industry has become very saurated and pay is unstable so I went into business for myself. I started buying properties and fixing them up. I currently have 3 very nice units...and counting.
I have a new found love for backpacking, hiking and backcountry camping. I have a few great trips planned for this year and am very excited to explore! My biggest goal is to hike the Appalachian Trail, starting at the Southern Terminus in Georgia and completing a thru hike ending at the Northern Terminus in Maine! Hopefully I will embark on this adventure in a couple of years. I'll keep you informed!
